FGID Privacy Choices and Personal Data Request Guide
Page Name: Your Privacy Choices
Version: First Edition
Publication Date: May 28, 2026
Effective Date: June 7, 2026
Last Updated: May 28, 2026
This page helps you manage choices concerning FGID's processing of personal data and submit privacy requests available to you under applicable law.
Article 1 Current Privacy Commitments
As of the Effective Date of this Guide, FGID:
- does not sell personal information for money or other consideration;
- does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising;
- does not use Passkeys, third-party login credentials, identity-verification data, or account-security data to create advertising profiles;
- does not use sensitive personal information to infer personal characteristics unrelated to the identity service; and
- does not knowingly sell, or share for cross-context behavioural advertising, personal information of a user under sixteen (16) years of age.
The definitions of “sale” and “sharing” are broad under the laws of certain jurisdictions. Although FGID does not currently engage in the foregoing activities, we provide the choices below.
Article 2 Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
You may request that FGID not sell, or share for cross-context behavioural advertising, your personal information.
You may submit a request by:
- selecting “Your Privacy Choices” in the footer of an FGID page;
- opening “Privacy and Data” in the Account Center;
- emailing the privacy address with “Do Not Sell or Share” in the subject line; or
- using a compliant Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
Because FGID does not currently sell, or share for cross-context behavioural advertising, personal information, your request will be recorded as an ongoing privacy choice. If our practices change in the future, we will continue to honor a valid opt-out unless you change it or the law permits us to obtain authorisation again.
An opt-out request generally does not require a government-issued identity document. We may request the minimum information necessary to identify the relevant browser, device, or account.
Article 3 Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information
You may request that the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information be limited to what is necessary to provide the identity services you reasonably expect, security, anti-fraud measures, account recovery, compliance, and other purposes permitted by law.
FGID does not currently use sensitive personal information for behavioural advertising, non-essential profiling, or inferences concerning characteristics unrelated to the service.
After a limitation request is submitted, FGID may continue to process necessary sensitive data to:
- authenticate an account and prevent fraud;
- protect users and system security;
- complete a login or account-recovery request;
- comply with legal obligations;
- establish, exercise, or defend legal rights; and
- pursue another necessary purpose permitted by law and consistent with the user's reasonable expectations.
Article 4 Global Privacy Control
Where required by applicable law and technically recognizable by FGID, a compliant Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is treated as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
4.1 Logged-In State
When you are logged in to FGID, we may, where reasonably practicable, associate the GPC choice with your account so that it applies to other logged-in devices.
4.2 Logged-Out State
When you are not logged in, the choice may apply only to the browser or device that sends the signal. You may need to send the signal again after clearing browser data, changing devices, or using a different browser.
4.3 GPC and Cookie Consent
GPC principally expresses an opt-out from sale or sharing. It does not automatically disable Cookies necessary to maintain login and security and is not necessarily equivalent to rejecting all analytics or functionality Cookies.
You may also manage non-essential Cookies through the Cookie settings panel.
Article 5 Other Personal Data Requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request to:
- know what data we collect and use;
- access personal data or obtain a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete personal data;
- restrict particular processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests or a similar legal basis;
- withdraw consent;
- obtain data in a portable format;
- opt out of direct marketing;
- contest an automated decision;
- appeal the outcome of a request; and
- appoint an authorised agent in accordance with law.
Not every right applies in every jurisdiction. We will process a request according to your location, the nature of the data, and applicable law.
Article 6 Request Channels
You may submit a request through a method described in Article 2 of this Guide, the “Privacy and Data” page in the FGID Account Center, or the following contact channels:
Contact: [email protected]
Official FGID Website: https://id.furrygoods.cc
FGID does not provide telephone support or publish fixed customer service hours. We generally provide an initial response within seven (7) business days after receiving complete information. The final deadline for a statutory-rights request is governed by applicable law.
Article 7 Identity Verification
We apply verification proportionate to the risk of the request:
- opting out of sale or sharing generally does not require identity verification;
- accessing, downloading, or deleting data generally requires login or verification through linked contact details;
- high-risk data may require enhanced verification;
- we will not request excessive data unrelated to the request; and
- if verification is not possible, we may request additional information or refuse a request that could disclose another person's data.
Do not send a third-party account password, Passkey private key, or recovery code by ordinary email.
Article 8 Authorised Agents
Where permitted by applicable law, you may authorise an agent to submit a request on your behalf.
We may require:
- the agent's identity and contact details;
- an authorisation signed or otherwise validly given by you;
- direct confirmation of authorisation from you; and
- proof that the agent is registered or qualified as required by law.
A request to opt out of sale or sharing shall not be unreasonably obstructed because it was submitted by an agent.
Article 9 Responses, Extensions, and Refusals
We will acknowledge and process requests within the period prescribed by applicable law.
If a request is complex, requests are numerous, or an extension is needed, we will provide notice of the extension and the reason to the extent permitted by law.
We may refuse or limit a request if:
- identity cannot reasonably be verified;
- the request is manifestly unfounded, repetitive, or excessive;
- responding would disclose another person's data or infringe another person's rights;
- the data is needed for security, anti-fraud, legal obligations, or dispute handling; or
- another ground for refusal is permitted by law.
If we refuse a request, we will explain the reason and available appeal channel to the extent permitted by law.
Article 10 Appeals
If you disagree with the outcome, you may appeal by emailing the privacy address after receiving our response and putting “Privacy Appeal / 隐私申诉” in the subject line.
The appeal should include the original request number, disputed matter, and supplemental materials. Where practicable, the appeal will be reviewed by an appropriate person who did not directly make the original decision.
Article 11 Non-Discrimination and Necessary Functions
We will not, because you lawfully exercise a privacy right:
- deny a service unrelated to the request;
- charge an unreasonable additional fee;
- maliciously reduce service quality; or
- retaliate or apply unfair differential treatment.
However, if you request deletion or restriction of, or decline to provide, data necessary to complete login, security verification, or account recovery, the relevant function may become unavailable. This is a functional limitation arising from data necessity, not a penalty for exercising a right.
Article 12 Opting Out of Direct Marketing
You may at any time:
- click the unsubscribe link in a marketing email;
- disable marketing communications in the Account Center;
- contact the privacy address to opt out; or
- withdraw consent to the use of personal data for direct marketing or its provision to a third party for direct marketing.
After opting out, you may continue to receive account, security, transaction, agreement-update, and other necessary service notices.
Article 13 Minors
We do not knowingly sell, or share for cross-context behavioural advertising, the personal information of a user under sixteen (16) years of age.
Where applicable law requires opt-in consent, a user from thirteen (13) through fifteen (15) years of age shall expressly authorise the processing, and a user under thirteen (13) shall be authorised by a parent or guardian. FGID does not currently engage in such sale or sharing.
A guardian may submit an access, correction, deletion, or other request on behalf of a minor in accordance with law. We may verify the guardianship relationship.
Article 14 Regional Rights
14.1 Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
Users may make personal data access and correction requests and request that the use of personal data for direct marketing cease in accordance with law. We may charge a fee permitted by law that does not exceed the cost of processing the request.
14.2 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Where applicable, users may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a supervisory authority.
14.3 Certain U.S. States
Where applicable, users may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and port personal information; opt out of sale or sharing and targeted advertising; limit sensitive personal information; appeal; and receive non-discriminatory treatment.
14.4 Other Jurisdictions
We process requests in accordance with the mandatory law of the user's location. This Guide does not reduce any statutory right that cannot be waived.
