FGID User Notice and Electronic Service Rules
Applicable Service: FGID (FurryGoods Identity)
Version: First Edition
Publication Date: May 28, 2026
Effective Date: June 7, 2026
Last Updated: May 28, 2026
These Rules explain how FGID sends users notices concerning accounts, authentication, authorisation, security, agreements, and services, and when an electronic notice is deemed served.
Article 1 Scope
These Rules apply to:
- registration, login, and identity-authentication notices;
- security notices concerning Steam, Google, X.com, Passkeys, devices, and sessions;
- notices of changes to login methods, contact email addresses, public profile data, or other security settings;
- notices concerning the linking or unlinking of third-party accounts and authorisation;
- notices of anomalous login, account risk, and security incidents;
- account restriction, freeze, appeal, and closure notices;
- notices of updates to the User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and rules;
- service maintenance, suspension, migration, or termination notices;
- privacy-request and personal-data-processing notices;
- organisation-account, developer, and Integrated Service notices; and
- other electronic notices permitted by law.
Article 2 Notice Channels
FGID may send a notice through one or more of the following means:
- the FGID website, Account Center, or an in-app message;
- a pop-up, banner, announcement, or login page;
- an email to an address registered by the user;
- another electronic channel voluntarily provided by the user and actually supported by the product;
- a push notification;
- a system notice within an Integrated Service;
- the developer console;
- a ticket or customer-service channel through which the user contacted FGID; or
- another electronic means permitted by law.
We may select a channel based on the importance, urgency, and deliverability of the notice and may send the notice more than once.
Article 3 Service Notices and Marketing Communications
3.1 Necessary Service Notices
Necessary notices concerning account security, verification, authorisation, agreement updates, privacy processing, or service suspension are not general commercial marketing. We may continue to send such notices even if the user opts out of marketing.
3.2 Marketing Communications
Communications concerning campaigns, promotions, offers, or commercial publicity will be sent only where permitted by applicable law or after obtaining any required consent.
Users may opt out of marketing through an unsubscribe link, account settings, or by contacting us. An opt-out does not affect necessary service notices.
Article 4 Time of Service
Unless otherwise required by law or stated in the notice:
- an in-site notice, pop-up, or Account Center notice is deemed served when displayed or published;
- an email is deemed served when sent to the contact email address provided by the user, unless an express permanent-delivery-failure message is received;
- an SMS is deemed served when submitted to the communications service provider for transmission;
- an announcement is deemed served when published on the designated page;
- a push notification is deemed served when the system submits it to the device push-notification service; and
- a ticket or customer-service response is deemed served when sent to the ticket system or registered contact details.
Where the law requires actual receipt, a specified form, or a longer notice period, the legal requirement shall prevail.
Article 5 User Obligations Concerning Contact Details
Users shall:
- provide true and valid contact details capable of receiving notices;
- promptly update a contact email address that is invalid, has changed, or is no longer under the user's control;
- review spam folders, filtering settings, and device-notification permissions;
- periodically review the Account Center and Agreement Library; and
- not forward session confirmations, recovery credentials, or security notices to another person.
Except as otherwise provided by law, a failure to receive notice because the user did not update contact details, the mailbox was full, an email service applied filtering, device settings blocked the notice, or for another reason attributable to the user does not affect the legal effect of notice under these Rules.
Article 6 Urgent Security Notices
If an account is compromised, credentials are leaked, a material attack or service vulnerability occurs, or another urgent event arises, we may:
- send notice immediately;
- take security measures before giving notice;
- require the user to re-verify identity or reset credentials within a specified period;
- send the notice repeatedly through multiple channels; and
- provide necessary information without disclosing investigative details.
After receiving a security notice, the user shall promptly verify the official domain name and sending channel and shall not submit a third-party account password, Passkey private key, or recovery code through any suspicious link in the notice.
Article 7 Notices of Agreement and Policy Updates
An ordinary update may be notified through an Agreement Library announcement or Account Center notice.
For an update that materially affects user rights and interests, we may provide notice through a pop-up, email, renewed checkbox acceptance, or another prominent means.
Where consent is required by law, the relevant change will apply only after valid consent has been obtained.
Article 8 Language Versions
We may provide notices in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, or another language.
Users may set a preferred language, but an urgent or legal notice may first be sent in a primary language supported by the system. Unless expressly stated otherwise, if language versions conflict, the Simplified Chinese version shall prevail.
Article 9 Electronic Records
The user agrees that electronic notices, sending records, delivery status, account-operation logs, consent records, and system timestamps may serve as electronic records evidencing notice, authorisation, and operations.
If a user believes a record is inaccurate, the user may submit an appeal or supporting evidence and request a review.
