FurryGoods Shop KYC, Identity Verification and Account Security Rules (v1.2)
Version v1.2. Unpublished review draft; not effective. Target effective date: 1 October 2026. Actual publication, notice and commencement depend on completion of the required procedures. This draft does not replace currently applicable terms. English is the baseline and prevailing text, subject to mandatory consumer protections. See the package README for outstanding release checks.
Article 1 Purpose, persons covered and proportionality
In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” mean 香港福瑞谷國際貿易有限公司 (HONG KONG FURRYGOODS INTERNATIONAL TRADE LIMITED), the operator of FurryGoods Shop. “Shop” or the “Platform” means our FurryGoods Shop services. “You” means a user of the services covered by this document. Provisions concerning buyers, creators or other particular capacities apply only to persons acting in that capacity.
We currently collect declared eligibility and payment information through self-reported birth dates and creator-provided payout accounts. Self-reporting does not mean we have independently verified identity, age or account ownership; we do not display “identity verified” or an equivalent conclusion on that basis alone. Identity, eligibility or account checks required by law or the actual payment channel must be completed before the relevant transaction or payment. Declarations do not replace required verification. We separately explain requirements for ordinary users and merchants, and individuals and organisations; ordinary browsers are not universally required to provide merchant documents. Registration and transactions require age 18 and independent contractual capacity, and organisational representatives must be authorised.
Article 2 Fields and accuracy
Depending on the applicable matter, we collect identity or entity evidence, necessary age verification, business licences, representative authority, payout account and tax information. Before collection, we explain purposes, necessity, recipients and consequences of non-provision. Support must not request payment passwords, one-time codes or card security codes. Biometric identification or unrelated financial materials must not be universally mandatory. You must provide accurate information, promptly update necessary changes, and not impersonate, falsify or borrow another's identity to evade restrictions.
Article 3 Identity verification and limited disclosure
Creators may use non-misleading pseudonyms, creator names or shop names that do not impersonate others. We separately manage non-public identity, payout and tax-verification information and public display information, and restrict access to legal identity data. Completion of a particular check establishes only what that check confirms; it does not establish all identity or qualification certifications or authorise display of private information on profiles, order notices or public interfaces.
Where law requires legal identity or business-contact information to be provided to the public, consumers or competent authorities, we determine the applicable grounds, recipients, necessary fields and method, and give notice where legally permitted and required. Where lawful alternatives include a business name, valid business-contact address or provision on request, we use a lawful method exposing less private information. Necessary information that must legally be disclosed or supplied remains subject to the corresponding procedures.
We make no absolute anonymity promise that real identities will never be supplied. Our collection of order payments or display of our company name does not change an ordinary creator's status as the actual seller for their orders.
Article 4 Review, correction and account matching
Where information is insufficient, we specify missing items and a reasonable correction period and permit appropriate alternative evidence. Where login is unavailable, we provide reasonable recovery verification. A declared payout account must belong to the actual recipient or form part of a lawful and valid authorised collection arrangement. We process the relevant payment after completing checks required by the actual channel and applicable law. Entering an account or its ability to receive transfers does not itself verify all entity qualifications. Incomplete verification does not waive payables; shared devices, IP addresses or household relationships alone do not establish joint fraud.
Ordinary requests follow the user-notice response and processing rules. Refusal, suspension or additional verification includes disclosable reasons, restoration conditions and human review. Withholding information prohibited from disclosure is limited to what is necessary, not a blanket refusal to explain.
Article 5 Account security and responsibility
You must safeguard credentials and promptly report suspected misuse. We fulfil our own security and anomaly-investigation obligations. Account logs are one form of evidence; we do not automatically attribute every unauthorised action to the user. Emergency restrictions must be necessary and proportionate, reviewed periodically and promptly lifted to the extent unsupported.
Article 6 Data protection and exit
Verification information is separated from public nicknames and attribution. Only necessary fields are supplied to verification, payment or legally authorised recipients with an actual need; complete originals are not indiscriminately shared with buyers. We currently do not receive or retain original identity-document photographs, selfies or biometric information for identity verification. Necessary non-image verification information is processed under the notice given at collection and the Privacy Policy. Account closure neither automatically removes statutory retention duties nor permits indefinite retention of all information.
Article 7 Updates and language
This document applies together with the FurryGoods Shop Service Agreement. We provide the applicable terms, give required notices and protect existing orders under its provisions on incorporation, priority and updates. Where separate consent is legally required, we act only after obtaining that consent.
Access merely to download existing deliverables, obtain a refund or settlement, appeal or exit does not constitute acceptance of new adverse terms. Continued use has acceptance effects only to the extent permitted by applicable law and after we have completed the necessary procedures.
The English text prevails in the event of ambiguity or conflict between language versions. This does not limit consumer protections or remedies under applicable mandatory law.
